Halloween Scene
by Joey Decker

High school students aren't the only group with big plans for Halloween. The Junior High kids are ecstatic about this upcoming holiday. This long-awaited day for dress-up has incurred quite a collection of conversation.

This year Cameron Griffth (7) plans to go trick-or-treating dressed as the Joker from Batman, "I love Twix; it is my favorite candy."

Of course, everyone's favorite part of Halloween is the candy. Kids are still hording their candy inside pillow cases hidden in secret stash locations months after the celebration is over. Chelsea Robertson (7) loves the fluffy chocolate goodness of Three Musketeers, "I'm planning on going trick-or-treating as a cat." Robertson also plans to attend the dance this Saturday after the Harvest Festival.

"I'm just going to ride my bike," Jed Eminger exclaims. Jed likes to keep it simple just like his favorite classic candy bar, Snickers. Unfortunately, Jed has a less outgoing outlook on the dance, "I'm not going to the dance; it is a waste of time."

Whether this is a favorite holiday or just a time to stock up on favorite sweets, Halloween offers a variety of entertaining options for everyone.
